A pair of teams riding lengthy undefeated streaks debut in this week's ESPNHS Development Academy Under-15/16 Power Rankings.

The red-hot newcomers are the San Diego Surf and Solar Chelsea, checking in at Nos. 8 and 9, respectively. Between them, they have a 23-match undefeated run.

The other newcomer this week is Albertson SC, returning to the top 10, bumping the Baltimore Bays Chelsea. The Bays fell to No. 10 last week after a loss to Greater Boston. This past weekend, the team tied DC United. Meanwhile, Albertson bested Greater Boston this weekend to justify a spot in this week's rankings.

Throughout the rest of the season, ESPNHS will offer a weekly glance at the top 10 teams in each age group.

The rankings will remain the same next Thursday as all Academy teams are idle this weekend, with the exception of those teams participating in the Dallas Cup -- which has no bearing on the Academy standings.

It should be noted, these rankings are not predictive, but rather reactive to the results. In other words, the higher ranked team has accomplished something on the field to earn that position for now. As such, we expect quite a bit of turnover in the top 10 -- especially the bottom three to five spots -- throughout the rest of the Development Academy season.
