Under-15/16 Academy Rankings

It's showdown week in the Great Lakes and Liberty divisions this week for teams in the ESPNHS Development Academy Under-16 Power Ratings.

No. 2 CSA Wolves and No. 6 Chicago Fire, the last undefeated teams in Great Lake play, go head-to-head with first place on the line this week. In the Liberty Division, No. 4 PDA takes on No. New York Red Bulls. This will be the first league match for each team. The Liberty Division teams play only 10 league matches, putting a premium on every single outcome for the teams vying for playoff positions.

Throughout the rest of the season, ESPNHS will offer a weekly glance at the top 10 teams in each age group.

It should be noted, these rankings are not predictive, but rather reactive to the results. In other words, the higher ranked team has accomplished something on the field to earn that position for now. As such, we expect quite a bit of turnover in the top 10 -- especially the bottom three to five spots -- throughout the rest of the Development Academy season.
