Under-17/18 Academy Rankings

Last week's action brought about a slight reshuffling among the top 10 teams but nearly no turnover.

Former No. 10 Albertson SC was the only team to leave the rankings, replaced in the bottom spot by FC DELCO. Beyond that, the other nine ranked teams remained in the rankings. The most significant move was a two-spot drop by FC Dallas.

Only five ranked teams will be in action this weekend, which likely means there will be little -- if any -- movement in next week's Top 10.

Throughout the rest of the season, ESPNHS will offer a weekly glance at the top 10 teams in each age group.

It should be noted, these rankings are not predictive, but rather reactive to the results. In other words, the higher ranked team has accomplished something on the field to earn that position for now. As such, we expect quite a bit of turnover in the top 10 -- especially the bottom three to five spots -- throughout the rest of the Development Academy season.
