Nike's The Opening 2012

The Opening Journey
2012 Nike's The Opening
The Opening presented by Nike Football, is four days of dynamic training, coaching and competition for many of the country's most elite high school football players. Every position and every aspect of the game will be highlighted over the course of the four-day program that runs July 5-8 and is held at Nike World Headquarters in Oregon.
The event will crown winners for the Nike 7ON tournament, Nike Linemen Challenge, and SPARQ Rating National Championship. Designed to give student-athletes the training and knowledge to develop their speed, explosiveness and position skills, The Opening brings together top performers from all of the Nike Football Training Camps and Nike Football SPARQ Combines, combined with other top prospects all battling for the chance to claim ultimate bragging rights.
Several of Nike's world-class football athletes will also be on hand during the tournament to assist in coaching and provide insights into athletic training at the highest level and what it takes to succeed on and off the football field.
The Opening was also one of the highest profile high school football events in the nation last year in its debut, drawing media coverage from ESPN.com, ESPNHS.com and every other major recruiting website, as well as being featured with five hours of broadcast on ESPNU.
Do you have what it takes to "Get Open?" in 2012? If you think so, make sure to register for a Nike Football SPARQ Combine or a Nike Football Training Camp.
