Getting To Know: Nick Menocal

After Nick Menocal earned first team all-county honors by the Miami Herald and second team all-state by the Florida prep sports writers in 2009 and posting a 114.60 SPARQ Rating at the Miami Nike Football Combine on Saturday, this 6-foot-2, 235-pound physical defensive lineman has positioned himself as the top-rated SPARQ athlete through two events and a premier South Florida recruit for the Class of 2011 in talent-rich Dade County. Now get to know him a little better in this ESPN RISE "Getting to Know" series.

Best advice from a coach: My linebacker coach EddieDelgado tells me, "Go hard and be aggressive even if you make a mistake makesure you are going full speed."
