INSIDE THE KENTUCKY WILDCATS' CLASS
Coming off a loss to Baylor in the Sweet 16, Matthew Mitchell has landed a big 2014 class for the Wildcats -- in more ways than one.
Leading the way is McDonald's All American Alyssa Rice, a 6-foot-3 center who is one of the most impressive and versatile bigs in the class. She is ranked 20th overall in the nation, has a tremendous work ethic and chose Kentucky over Maryland, Ohio State, Virginia and West Virginia. She averaged 17.3 points and 9.0 rebounds as a senior at Reynoldsburg (Ohio).
Joining Rice in the Wildcats' class is Alexis Jennings, a promising 6-2 post player from Alabama who also could make an immediate impact. She is the No. 66 prospect in the nation.
The final player in the Wildcats' class is Jaycee Coe, a 6-foot three-star forward from Tennessee.
