INSIDE THE MISSISSIPPI STATE BULLDOGS' CLASS
Vic Schaefer's five-player 2014 class features one of the most prolific scorers in the nation in Victoria Vivians, one of the top defenders in the nation in Morgan William and one of the biggest sleepers in the nation in LaKaris Salter. It also includes a pair of three-star guards out of Texas, one of whom happens to be his daughter, Blair Schaefer.
Vivians, a 5-foot-11 wing out of Scott Central (Forest, Miss.), is the No. 24 prospect in the nation. She'll bring range and athleticism to the Bulldogs' lineup.
William is a 5-5 point guard out of Shades Valley (Birmingham, Ala.), where she averaged nearly five steals a game to go along with her 14.1 points.
Salter, a 6-foot forward and the No. 89 prospect, has a soft touch and vast potential.
The final member of the class is Kayla Nevitt, who led Dekaney (Houston) in scoring as a junior by averaging 11.1 points per game.
Schaefer celebrated the week with five signatures.
