Morgan Jones of Alamonte Springs, Fla.
(ESPN HoopGurlz)

The news got really good for Joe McKeown on the last day of the early signing period as Morgan Jones, the No. 9 prospect in the class, changed her mind and signed early. Jones is a multidimensional wing prospect and at 6-2 she can pose mismatches all over the court. She will join her sister, Tailor Jones, who transferred from Florida last season.

Morgan Jones could be the player who transforms the program which has been carried through last seasons by post Amy Jaeschke, who was drafted in the third round of the 2011 WNBA Draft by the Chicago Sky. The Wildcats signed another top-100 player in four-star forward Alexandria Cohen. The 6-5 prospect has post size and length but the agility and skill to be a faceup scorer.

The third piece to McKeown's class is point guard Karly Roser. She was a member of the Canadian U17 national team and brings a lot to the floor. She's not a flashy player but can distribute, knock down open shots and will provide a different style of guard than the roster currently has.

Northwestern had no addtions to this signing class in the spring and moves on to the 2012 class where it already has its first commitment.
