ESPN Player Evaluations

Deep South Classic-April 11: Silky smooth, finishes well in traffic, hustles all over the floor, nice 3-point touch, good ball control, attacks off the dribble, can defend on perimeter or low post. Runs floor extremely well. (Beverly)

More aggressive and has added the explosive step to her game. Size causes mismatch and shows more upper body strength and seems to have her head in the right direction being more coachable. (Gray)

USJN Chicago-Oct. 10: As usual, the 6-foot wing was the tallest player on the floor with the Lady Fire. But, unlike the high school season where she is relegated to the paint, she was featured often Sunday as a perimeter player, even at the point. The team ran some isolations for her and though she's not quite as blinding as Kiana Johnson, she doesn't have to be because of her length. The only real knock is that she doesn't explode out of her moves past the defender, instead going side-to-side, leading to more consecutive change of direction moves than is actually necessary. Once she learns to get her inside shoulder in to the defender's hips it may very well be game over. She is thin and needs to add strength but she has enough lower body strength to raise up out of her dribble-attack into a nice mid-range pull-up jumper. (Hansen)

Run For Roses-July 10: Nice size and athletic ability natural slasher that can finish. Very active and energetic on defense. (Bodine)

Braggin' Rights-Dec. 09: On a vertically challenged team like Whitney Young (Ill.), the 6-footer stands out like Shaquille O'Neal. Though she's playing a forward spot for the Dolphins, she exhibits all the skills and tools to make her a promising prospect on the wing in the 2012 class. Her ballhandling skills allow her to put the ball on the floor both in transition and halfcourt. She's got a good first step that gets her around defenders of any size. In the paint she can finish in traffic and doesn't hesitate to take a hit. She runs the floor and often is at the finishing end of the break for Young. She didn't put up any shots from the perimeter but her form at the line was sound. Her long build and extended reach make her a wide defender to go around or to attempt to pass over. She could use some more bulk to hold her ground in the post defensively but she makes up for it for the time being with her speed and quickness.
