ESPN Player Evaluations

Nike Nationals, July 2011: If the stocks on Wall Street were rising at the same rate as the interest in this 5-11 wing, the economy would solidly be in recovery. Over the course of July she's done nothing but establish herself as an impact player, skillwise and athletically. Her play in Chicago, D.C. and now Augusta has been dynamic, explosive and has the coaches sitting courtside talking. With or without the ball in her hands she's on the attack and has the capacity to take it at both perimeter and interior matchups. The ballhandling is soundly there in transition or the halfcourt but occasionally still reveals a few rough edges. Her first step is quick, long and consistently leading to some eye catching elevation on a pull up as well as opportunities around the rim. She shown the ability to shoot it out to 3-point range and does so with a true jump shot. What sets her apart even more on the offensive end is her passionate approach and effort on the boards. Defensively she uses that same explosiveness and intensity to get touches, make plays and create turnovers while limiting opponents to single looks. (Lewis)

USJN Chicago-Oct. 10: Showed top 100 explosiveness and athleticism. In transition she is a blur who can elevate on her finishes. The achilles heal for the fall weekend was finishing with her left hand. On several occasions she would attempt layups on the left side with her right hand, which can be okay with a wide angle but on shallow penetration it led to impossible angles and thus misses. Defensively she has the length, quickness and aggression to be an impact defender. The pieces are all here, she just needs to sharpen some skills up. (Hansen)

Nike Nationals-July 10: Lean and active with some solid one-on-one skills. Gets deep on penetration and can make some sharp passes in traffic. Will have to finish better herself but the work ethic looks good. Rebounds well from the perimeter. (Lewis)
