ESPN Player Evaluations

Nike TOC-Dec. 11: Was solid here. Shares a backcourt with Taryn Griffey FL-14 so both operate as the teams point guard for stretches. Has to carry the scoring load more for her high school team more than she does in the summer so is in a different element then what we are use to seeing from her. When her feet are under her she is a solid perimeter shooting threat, especially in catch and shoot situations. Continues to improve as a point guard, decision making, ability to run a team, making plays for herself and others. (Moore)

Boo Williams-April 11: Showed her quickness in transition and ability to create offense. Because she can stop and pop, she puts tremendous pressure on the defense and she has the ability to make plays with the pass when the defense commits. Has been a streaky scorer, capable of getting 20 one game and just a couple of buckets the next game, but her other skills give coaches reason to keep her on the floor whether she's scoring or not. At 5-6 she may not be that 5-9 PG that some college coaches covet, but she is well above average athletically and should garner plenty of offers from schools in the major and mid conferences alike. (Hansen)

PS Holiday-Dec. 10: It's true size doesn't always matter. This 5-foot-6 speedy guard loves to push the ball up the court and get out into the open where she has great vision. She likes to penetrate and attack off the dribble, looking to score or dish to the open teammate. She is a great passer and clutch scorer. Her free throw with seconds remaining sealed the win against Providence Day. McCaskill showed she can knock down the 3 but needs to become a more consistent shooter from mid-range. McCaskill, a sophomore, and freshman Taryn Griffey form a formidable backcourt. (Beverly)
