ESPN Player Evaluations

End-of-the-Trail-July 2013: Versatile perimeter performer with triple-threat attack and deep range, explosive and fluid off the dribble in either direction; offensively skilled mismatch producer; consistently delivers in mid-range game to the arc; quiet, yet respected leadership characteristics; among the nation's elite in 2014. (Olson)

USAB U16 Trials-May 11: While listed as a guard and offering up some individual attack with the ball, Nared seems more suited for the wing spot at this point. She's got good size and impressive lower body strength which contributes to long and strong first step. Her attack is still upright to a degree at this point which takes the edge of her explosiveness. The perimeter stroke is there but there's a slight hop backwards on her release that contributed to some inconsistency. She made several sharp passes and could do so a lot more often to keep defenders honest. The tools are all there and still evolving. The potential is obvious at the defensive end but it's not the strength her offensive game is at this point. (Lewis)

A physically impressive prospect. Needs to work on scoring off the dribble. With a set shot with range to three, there's no reason she shouldn't have a money pull-up jumper. Has the potential to be a lockdown defender at positions 1-4 but needs to be more physical and tenacious to realize it. Lots of tools, more than most in her class, but with her ability the expectations are sky high. (Hansen)

Likes to play on the perimeter, needs to find other ways to get involved in the game when her shot is not falling. (Bodine)

AZ Elite Spring Classic-April 10: Miss Nared is instant offense with or without the ball. An impressive athlete with the size and speed at 6-1 from the shooting guard position to be a constant threat. She posseses many tools in her bag-o-threats, most notably a spin back middle from either side which she can manuever at high speed with precision and great body control. In the short game she likes to bounce it at her defender once, create space on the quick bounce step-back, and knock down the jumper. She has an explosive and long first step going right. Has nice, fluid movements. Moves well without the ball. Did not see any attempts from beyond the arc this weekend. That will be another impressive feature to her game. As Miss Nared gets older, expect her to take a more vocal and leadership role for her team, and understand to play hard always and never take plays off. (Howe)
