ESPN Player Evaluations

The Mecca-Feb 12: She has the same body type and similar game as her McDonald's All-American sister, Michaela, but they definitely are not carbon copies. The younger Mabrey has more of a outwardly alpha personality, meaning she plays with emotion, competes hard all the time, and is not shy about communicating with teammates. The downside is that she can be hard on herself, something she'll hopefully grow out of. She's a good perimeter scorer, though she tends to lunge forward (instead of vertically) on her shot beyond the arc. She'll also throw herself into penetration and draw fouls, if not finishes, and demonstrates the same determination on defense. (Nelson)

USJN-July 11: A very good perimeter shooter with a high basketball IQ and a great feel for the game. A tough kid who competes on every possession. Sister Michaela is a 2012 grad headed to Notre Dame (Moore)

Handles the ball well and attack the basket and finish with either hand, with her tools and athletic ability she has an opportunity to be a special player in this class. (Bodine)

USJN DC-July 10: Very young but skilled guard. Nice handle and a strong ability to get to the rim. Keep watching. (Lewis)
