ESPN Player Evaluations

End of the Trail-July 2012: Showing a lot of growth in confidence which allowed her to show her shooting range and consistency. She remains at her best playing full court defense and keeping the tempo of the game up. Plays off the ball more with Tree of Hope, where she is the primary ball handler at her high school. Overall a great showing for Best; on a team loaded with guard talent she found a way to stand out. (Hansen)

NW Elite Showcase-Oct. 11: Best is a fluid athlete with length to play much bigger than her listed 5-8. She has a quick first step that borders on explosive and sound shooting mechanics to convert scoring opportunities. Defensively she can be a difference maker with her length and foot speed. There just seems to be a lack of confidence or experience here because the physical tools are there to be a terrific college point guard. She showed progress in her command on of her team in a showcase setting, which in theory is more difficult than with her club team, but regardless, it's a sign of improvement. She definitely has moments of being a really good player against just about any competition and we are anxiously awaiting more of those moments. (Hansen)

EOT-July 11: Quick point guard who can defend and really push the ball in transition. Plays both off and on the ball for her team, but projects as a PG. Needs to be more aggressive in the halfcourt. Talent and athleticism are obvious, but she needs to turn it up a notch to reach her potential. (Hansen)
