USJN-July 2014: Strong, agile off-guard, physical off the dribble, creates in mid-range game; commands the ball, manufactures; handles and passes in uptempo game; deep-range consistency is missing ingredient for next-level impact. (Olson)
USJN-July 2013: Deceptively athletic, strong off-guard manufactures, elevates in mid-range game; physical off the bounce, creates spacing off jumper; court awareness, passes with purpose; scorer's mentality with consistency off the bounce. (Olson)
The Mecca-Feb 12: Prospects who can do one thing very well often are quick to catch the eye. Jones does this with her well-developed mid-range game. It's her equally well-developed physique that will make believers of college recruiters. She has defined arms and strong legs, giving her an excellent base for her pulls, on which she has very good control, even closely guarded. Like a lot of righty shooters, Jones loves to go left off the dribble, squaring her naturally for pull-ups. The difference is that she can go hard with the left and attack the basket against defenders playing her for the shot. Strength-wise, she can make all the long passes, though she sometimes lacks touch on all of them. She doesn't have eye-popping explosiveness or quickness, which isn't as big an issue at the offensive end as it could be defensively, given her height and position. (Nelson)
