Peach State-July 09: Georgia Pistols guard Khaalidah Miller has long been praised for her scoring ability. She's 5-9 with the length of a 6-footer. She has the quickness to go by most defenders and the shooting ability to punish defenses that choose to sag off of her. What was impressive is that none of her scoring attributes stood out. She did a little bit of everything else. She rebounded, distributed the ball, set teammates up and defended. Unfortunately for her team they need all of that and her scoring on this day, but her ability shined through a tough loss, regardless.
Boo Williams-April 09: Khaalidah Miller of both the Georgia Metros to the Georgia Pistols brings her game regardless of which jersey she's wearing. There's a smooth look to her attack, which is deceptive, leaves defenders in their stance and scratching their heads. She was out in front on the break with and without the ball, but showed a willingness to give it up, almost too much. Ranked No. 21 in the ESPN HoopGurlz Super Sixty heading into the Spring, Miller is definitely the kind of player you want to have the ball in her hands more often than not.
Fall 08: Khaalidah Miller obviously already has caught our attention, logging in at No. 20 in the Super Sixty for this class. She solidified that standing in her home turf, showing the ability to slalom through the best of defenses for finishes at the cup, or stopping on a dime to pop her lethally accurate pull-up jumper. She has good size, at 5-9, for the guard spot and very good speed and athleticism that she also puts to good use at the defensive end.
Summer 08: Khaalidah Miller, a 5-9 guard from Mableton, Ga., fits the definition of most college coaches when they say they are looking for a scoring guard. The Georgia Metros star can put points on the board and can do it in a variety of ways. Quick and athletic, she can create off the dribble and can pull up on the drive with a deadly pull up. Miller slashes through defenses time and again but also has a good look on the perimeter. Her lean build will fill out as she matures and will create even further headaches for defenders as she adds more strength. There are lots of tools and potential in place and the college recruiters are already lining up.
