ESPN Player Evaluations

Deep South Classic-April 11: Did not look as sharp as she has previously. Had moments of dominance and appeared to be able to take over at will but did so only occasionally. Still explosive with strong individual skills and an ability to dictate the pace of the game. Defensively had some good moments particularly on the ball. (Lewis)

Classic in the Country-Jan. 11: Limited to play in only one game due to concussion symptoms, Sessions still left no doubt she was one of the premier guards in attendance. If anyone was ever to inquire about the word "attack" in the description of a point guard, point her this way. The 5-foot-7 junior is quick, physical and aggressive in her play and not hesitant to take it into traffic or hit the floor. Off-the-dribble, her first step is explosive and she reads rotations well as she get deeper in the paint. While she can score it herself, she can also make the difficult pass. Getting to the line seems to be no problem for her as well, as she's more than willing to hang in there and take a hit. In transition you want the ball in her hands. She accelerates after receiving the outlet, often overtaking teammates running the lanes without the ball. Defensively she's just as physical and has the quickness to turn opposing ballhandlers at will. It's no coincidence that Myrtle Beach struggled without her in the lineup on the second night. (Lewis)

USJN DC-July 10: Explosive athletically and difficult for defenders to contain, Sessions is one to keep an eye on in the 2012 class. She navigates the floor well on the break and against the press while creating her own looks at will. Her perimeter shot looked just as good as in the past but wasn't dropping with the same consistency. Defensively she's still an aggressive ball hawk and makes some hustle plays that force opponents into multiple turnovers. (Lewis)

Midwest Showdown-May 10: If one player really made a statement to establish herself among the class' elite over the weekend it would be this 5-6 dynamic point guard from the same South Carolina 76ers team. Physically strong with impressive speed and quickness, she controls the pace of the game on the offensive end and dictates to opposing ballhandlers defensively. Her ball skills allow her to push the ball on the break and weave through traffic with little difficulty. In the halfcourt she penetrates on her own or comes off screens leaving both defenders in her wake. The pull up is there and she showed some range on several occasions. Her hands are just as quick as her feet and opposing ballhandlers find themselves chalking up turnovers if they put it out in front of them. She's got an important and telling summer in front of her. (Lewis)
