ESPN Player Evaluations

Nike Nationals-July 10: Versatile forward who has the ability to step out in a four out set or to play the high post in more traditional offenses. While you want to notice and respect her perimeter game, it's easy to overlook that she's solid in the paint and on the block as well. Her ability to be effective inside and out made her a difficult match up in Augusta and she produced results with both approaches. She could be more physical defensively and on the boards at times. (Lewis)

Music City-July 10: The Cy-Fair program entered two teams in this year's tournament and both were strong contenders for the title. One of the top contributors of the Cy-Fair-Hensle edition was combo-forward Joey Bailey. It would be easy to assume that due to her size at 6 feet 3 and solid frame that she is strictly an inside player, but those assumptions would not be justified. Her ability to play on the perimeter gives her team a decisive height advantage. Her perimeter shot is consistent and she has a nice bank shot that she executes from 12-15 feet. Her height makes her a threat from the wing, as she is not a fleet of foot athlete, who can drive past any solid defender. A position or area rebounder, Bailey will need to produce more in this area to be considered among the elite. The Gunter, Texas, native has a solid all-around game and showed that throughout the tournament. (Powell)

Battle For The Boro-July 10: Nice size and build at the forward spot. Lots of versatility and perimeter skills that will allow her to operate on the perimeter as well as in the paint. Good form and range on her jumper that forces the bigs to follow her out. (Lewis)
