ESPN Player Evaluations

Nike Summer Showcase-July. 10: Small but solid guard with a big game. Has an attacking mentality at both ends of the floor. Offensive game is evolving and she's finding more and more ways to create her own opportunities. Pushes it in transition but needs to find the breaks on occasion. As a defender she's the ball hawk you want picking up opposing point guards baseline to baseline. Overshadowed with lots of potential. (Lewis)

Flava Jam-July 10: With Niya Johnson, Briana Banks and Alexis Prince on the floor, many overlook Hall but this kid can play. Her athleticism, size and length for the guard position are up there with the best in the class. She is the type of defender that once the opposition shows a weakness she is going to lock in on it and turn the player over. She can pick up 94 feet or pressure in the quarter-court. She showed some explosiveness on offense, scoring on some slashing moves from the wing. Continued development is needed in creating for herself but she doesn't need it to earn minutes with what she's capable of as a defender. (Hansen)

WCP Spring Invitational-May '10: Essence traveled all the way from Florida to play in this tournament. Though probably disappointed they didn't reach the championship, the team showed that it is more than the two-headed monster of Brianna Banks and Alexis Prince. Hall showed great quickness and was a stand out defensively. She closed on passing lanes as well as anyone and has a way of baiting the opposition into throwing passes she is going to break on. She uses her quickness defensively on the ball as well. (Hansen)
