Turkey Jamm-Nov. 09:Xavier signee Latisha Walker of Cleveland Lutheran East has the build and versatility to be an impact forward for Coach McGuff and the Musketeers. Standing 6-1 and exhibiting the wingspan of someone with greater size she%u2019s an imposing presence on the defensive end both on the ball and in helpside rotations. Add to that impressive quickness and leaping ability and you%u2019ve got someone who can help you get stops. Offensively she%u2019s effective in tight and can finish around the rim. Additionally she can put the ball on the floor from both the high post and from the corners. An ankle injury late in Friday%u2019s game limited her mobility Saturday but she still managed to be a force inside and demonstrated some solid toughness.

Flava Jam-July 09: All Ohio has had some great interior players over the past four years, from Jantel Lavender to Ayana Dunning and last year again with Karisma Penn. This year Latisha Walker of Cleveland%u2019s Luthern East High School is manning the middle. She doesn%u2019t get the acclaim of her predecessors but this kid can play. At 6-2 she has a long wing span and is a capable shot blocker. She%u2019s also a physical player who has no problems mixing it up and playing with contact. She has a solid base offensively but could add some counter moves to her repertoire before getting to college.

Braggin' Rights Jan. 09: Good size and build in the post. Raw, but only to a degree. Physically she has a great wingspan and can run the floor with the guards. Keeps it high offensively but seems unsure of herself. Her shot is a question mark but the potential is there. Physical and aggressive defender.
