- G Gabby Green suffers broken ankle
- Gabby Green of Oakland, Calif., one of the top prospects in the 2014 class, suffered a broken right ankle on Tuesday morning, according to her club coach, George Quintero of Cal Storm Taurasi.
A 6-foot guard, Green was playing in her first game for the Storm since leaving East Bay Xplosion. The game was among the first played at the Nike Summer Showcase.
"She has been with us for a few weeks and what a joy," Quintero said. "She spent a week with us in training camp and we developed a wonderful relationship and respect for her as a person and player. She will be back stronger than ever."
