- PG Erin Thomas gives Horizon program three commits in 2012
- Erin Thomas of Spring Grove, Ill., has committed to Loyola University in Chicago, according to her club coach, Marty Dello of the Illinois Magic. The 5-foot-5 point guard originally committed to Dayton as a freshman but later decided to open her recruitment to stay closer to home.
"She displays excellent ball handling skills and can stretch the defense with her long range shooting," Dello said. "Erin fell in love with the coaches, location, and players at Loyola and is really excited about her decision."
Thomas averaged 14 points, 5 assists and 3 steals as a junior at Richmond-Burton High School (Richmond,Ill.).
