- Marvadene Anderson of Somerset, N.J., has verbally committed to the University of Pittsburgh. The 6-foot-11 center also considered Rutgers, the University of South Florida, and Seton Hall before deciding on the Panthers.
"Pittsburgh offered me so much," said Anderson. "I have a great relationship with the coaches and I felt comfortable the minute I walked on campus."
Anderson is the first player to commit to coach Agnus Berenato and her program in the 2012 class.
