- Brittany Webb, ranked as the No. 16 post prospect in the 2010 by ESPN HoopGurlz, committed to South Carolina, according to her high-school and club coach, Apache Paschall of St. Michael Academy and Exodus NYC.
The 6-foot-4 Webb chose South Carolina over George Washington and Rutgers, Paschall said. Webb made an official to South Carolina the last weekend of October.
Webb's addition will give coach Dawn Staley a formidable front line, as she signed Kelsey Bone, the No. 2 prospect in the 2009 class last year. Staley also already has a commitment from Elem Ibiam, a 6-foot-3 post from Griffin, Ga., in the 2011 class.
