No. 40 Khadijah Sessions to sign with SEC school
Khadijah Sessions of Myrtle Beach, S.C., committed on Tuesday morning to the University of South Carolina, according to her club coach, Roger WIley of the South Carolina 76ers.

The last ranked point guard available in the class of 2012, Sessions just made an official visit to South Carolina last weekend and was present for the Gamecocks' victory over Alabama A&M on Monday night. She also was considering Auburn and Florida State.

"(When I) went to visit all the schools, everything was great, but USC brought a different feel to me," Sessions said via Wiley. "I went home prayed about it and woke up feeling like how couldn't I play for a coach like coach Staley that's been there and done everything I wanna do. She will push me and get the best out of me."

The 5-foot-6 Sessions averaged 17.9 points, 5.7 assists and 4.0 steals as a junior at Myrtle Beach (S.C.), which she's helped to back-to-back state 3A championships. She was an all-state selection last year.

"I am happy for Khadijah," WIley said. "This has been a tough process for her.  She is going to a great school and a wonderful coach. "
