18-0250Season Complete: The Eagles finish 2012 as the unanimous No. 1 team in the nation, making it the third-straight time they have won the FAB 50 National Championship. Taylor Cummings scored the game-winning goal with 9.8 seconds remaining in the IAAM championship to win the Eagles' fourth-straight conference title. Eleven of McDonogh's 18 wins this season came over teams ranked in the FAB 50. The Eagles have the longest active winning streak in the nation at 69 games and had the distinction of ending two winning streaks greater than 50 games during their run. Four players from the ESPN 100 graduate, but five players on the Top 50 junior list along with talented sophomore Megan Whittle will return in 2013.

21-0244Moorestown opened the South Group 3 tournament with a 20-0 victory over Jackston Liberty.
3 (6)Maryvale Prep

13-4239Season Complete: Maryvale won eight of its final nine games to advance to the IAAM championship game. The run included wins over four FAB 50 teams. Junior goalie Caroline Federico recorded 10 saves in the championship game against No. 1 McDonogh. The Lions' one-goal loss to McDonogh proved to be the closest any team had gotten all year to knocking off the Eagles. No other team got within seven goals during McDonogh's run to the title.

16-2233Season Complete: The Mawritans were upset in the IAAM semifinal by No. 6 Maryvale Prep 9-7. Six seniors who are committed to Division I programs will graduate from the 2012 team, but three D-I commits in the junior class return, including Ellie Knott and Kate Snouffer.

17-1228Haley Bordner scored four goals and Angela Flister scored three as the Knights came back from a 4-0 deficit to defeat C.M. Wright 10-8 in the Class 3A/2A semifinal on Saturday. Century will play Queen Anne's for the state championship on Tuesday or Wednesday.

South Huntington, NY
14-1225Maggie Bill tallied three goals and an assist as the Friars defeated St. John the Baptist 16-5 in the semifinal of the CHSAA tournament. The Friars played No. 29 Sacred Heart for the championship at 6 p.m. on Monday.
7 (9)Vero Beach Senior
Vero Beach, FL
22-2220Season Complete: Vero Beach won its seventh straight state championship with a 22-6 victory over Bishop Moore. The Fighting Indians have won 93-straight games over in-state opponents and posted two wins over teams ranked in the FAB 50 this season. Vero's 12-11 victory over St. Stephen's a St. Agnes was its statement win of the 2012 season. Senior Mackenzie Smith finished her prep career by scoring 11 goals in the final three games of the year, including four goals and four assists in the state championship game. Six seniors graduate, but Katy Pridemore, who led the team in scoring with 67 goals this season, will return.

26-3215Season Complete: The Saints wrapped their season by bringing home the Virginia Independent Athletic Association championships. SSSA defeated five teams ranked in the FAB 50 this season, including Georgetown Visitation in the ISL tournament championship. The Saints graduate seven Division I players from their senior class, including defenders Emma Dyson, Paige Patterson and goalie Katie Wiseman. But SSSA returns eight Division I players in the junior class, including the top two leading scorers, Carly Reed (107 goals) and Besser Dyson (91). Sophomore goalie Gussie Johns who recorded 62 saves this season also returns.

20-2208Season Complete: Under first-year coach Aubrey Andre the Tigers finished the season as ISL champions. Georgetown Visitation posted wins over two teams currently ranked in the FAB 50, including a regular season victory over St. Stephen's a St. Agnes. A potential Top 5 team to start 2013, Georgetown Visitation will return four of its Top 5 leading scorers, including Tess McEvoy (64 goals), Kelly Myers (44), Mary Patalita (42) and Riley Christopher (37).

19-1205Halley Barnes scored four goals and AnnaElise Morello had three to help Garnet Valley to a 16-6 win over Strath Haven and advance to the District 1 semifinal on Tuesday.

16-0196Guilderland had a bye in the first round of the section playoffs, but get back to action on May 22 against Colonie.
12 (16)Manheim Township

21-0194Megan Pinkerton scored five goals in Manheim Township's 23-3 win over Wilson in the District III quarterfinals. The Blue Streaks will play Penn Manor in the semifinal May 22.

15-0-2189Lakeland-Panas finished the regular season in a 11-11 tie with Fox Lane.
14 (18)Severna Park
Severna Park, MD
17-2181The Falcons avenged an earlier loss by defeating No. 30 South River in the Class 4A/3A East Region semifinal then continued its run into the final where it will attempt to win its 11th title in 13 tries.
15 (17)Manhasset Public School

12-4173Manhasset defeated its two opponents by a combined scored of 38-7 in the first two rounds of the Nassau County Class B playoffs. A semifinal meeting with No. 37 Wantagh is scheduled for May 23.
16 (20)Farmingdale
Farmingdale, NY
15-1169Farmingdale opened the Nassau County Class A playoffs with a 20-2 win over East Meadow. The Dalers meet Oceanside in the semifinal on May 22.
17 (19)Harriton

18-3167Jess Schwab scored six goals in a 10-9 win over Springfield-Delco in the District 1 tournament on Saturday. The win moves the Rams into the semifinal against Conestoga May 22.

12-5166The Trojans' title defense opened with wins over Mepham and Lynbrook in the first two rounds of the Nassau County Class B playoffs. A semifinal meeting against Long Beach is scheduled for May 23.

15-2159Hauppauge opened the Suffolk County Class B playoffs with a 15-7 win over Miller Place. A game against Harborfields is scheduled for May 22.

15-1156Ward Melville had a first-round bye in the Suffolk County Class A playoffs. The Patriots opened its playoff run with a May 21 meeting against Middle Country.
