ESPN will release the ESPN RISE FAB 50 national girls' soccer winter rankings each week of the regular season and playoffs, continuing through the final matches of the Texas state playoffs.

If this week's FAB 50 looks familiar, it should.

There was no movement among the top 18 teams as those squads, minus the five teams that are finished, went 17-0-0 last week to keep the status quo.

Looking at the week ahead, the winter national title could be decided this weekend. Foothill (Pleasanton, Calif.) advanced to its section semifinals where it will face FAB 50-ranked Castro Valley (Calif.) with a possible title showdown with league rival San Ramon Valley (Danville, Calif.). Of course, getting past Castro Valley will not be an easy task.

If Foothill falters, Kingwood (Humble, Texas) is primed for a shot at No. 1, and if that's the case, the winter No. 1 might not be determined until the final playoff match is resolved in April in Texas.

Results through Feb. 22.
