ESPN will release the ESPN RISE FAB 50 national girls' soccer winter rankings each week of the regular season and playoffs, continuing through the final matches of the Texas state playoffs.

How about a Texas 5A state semifinal featuring three of the FAB 50 top four-ranked teams?

It's possible.

Kingwood (Humble, Texas), Reagan (San Antonio) and The Woodlands (Texas) are in separate 32-team brackets and could possibly all work their way to the state semifinals.

Of course, that's easier said than done in a 128-team, single-elimination tournament. Kingwood's road could intersect with undefeated and FAB 50-ranked Austin (Fort Bend, Texas). Reagan is vying to become the first undefeated girls team from San Antonio in more than 20 years. The Woodlands' path to the semifinals might be paved with more landmines than either Kingwood's or Reagan's.

Results through March 22.
