Get ready for the California rush.

West Coast FC from California joins this week's top five and the San Diego Surf is next in line, and could all join the SoCal Blues in future ESPNHS ECNL Under-15 Power Rankings.

This past weekend's ECNL San Diego event resulted in one major move -- the Colorado Rush dropping out of the top five after being ranked as high as No. 2. The Rush went 1-1-1 at the event with a 3-0 setback to the Surf.

West Coast's 3-0 showing at the ECNL San Diego earned the team a spot in this week's rankings.

Throughout the rest of the season, ESPNHS will offer a weekly glance at the top five teams in each age group.

It should be noted, these rankings are not predictive, but rather reactive to the results. In other words, the higher ranked team has accomplished something on the field to earn that position for now. As such, we expect quite a bit of turnover in the rankings throughout the rest of the ECNL season.
