With No. 1 Eclipse Select done until June and No. 2 CASL Chelsea finished until the playoffs, everyone else will be battling for No. 3 in the ESPNHS ECNL Under-17 power rankings.

The one squad close to claiming a top five spot was Mustang, which saw that chance dashed in a loss to Bethesda on the final day of competition at the ECNL San Diego event.
Throughout the rest of the season, ESPNHS will offer a weekly glance at the top five teams in each age group.
It should be noted, these rankings are not predictive, but rather reactive to the results. In other words, the higher ranked team has accomplished something on the field to earn that position for now. As such, we expect quite a bit of turnover in the rankings throughout the rest of the ECNL season.
