ECNL U18 Power Rankings

The undefeated Dallas Texans are back in action this weekend, and for the first time, they'll have to defend their No. 1 ranking.

ESPNHS continues our weekly look at the top ECNL teams in each age group. This week, we expand the list to the top 10 in the ESPNHS ECNL Under-18 Power Rankings.

At U18, Dallas Texans looks to defend a flawless season this weekend against Dallas Sting to keep their spot at the top of the list. Michigan Hawks, whose season is complete, looks on anxiously from No. 2. The Power Rankings introduce five new teams to the list this week, including No. 5 FC Stars of Massachusetts, who has beaten a pair of top 10 opponents this season.

No. 9 Albertson FC took a hit this week after dropping two matches at home last weekend, and No. 7 Colorado Rush is back in our rankings after dropping out of the top five three weeks ago. Of special interest this week is No. 10 D'Feeters, the only Flight B team to earn a top ranking.

Throughout the rest of the season, ESPNHS will offer a weekly glance at the top ten teams in each age group. These rankings, indicative of the results of a team rather than a prediction of future outcomes, offer a sampling of some of the top talent in the game.

4	Mustang SC 12-2-3	1 Last Week: 5	Mustang regains the No. 4 spot after Albertson Fury dropped two matches last weekend. This squad is 9-0-2 in games against Northwest Conference opponents. Next Match: May 5 at Washington Premier
5	Stars of Mass 7-2-3	-- Last Week: NR	Last week's 6-5 win over Albertson Fury catapulted Stars of Mass into the top five. Wins over No. 6 Arsenal as well as Solar-Chelsea and PDA highlight a strong resume. Next Match: April 21 vs. FC Bucks
6	Arsenal FC 10-2-2	-- Last Week: NR	Arsenal has one of the nation's best goal scorers in Ifeoma Onumonu, who has committed to California. The team also has two solid wins over Slammers and No. 8 Eclipse Select. Next Match: April 21 vs. Real So Cal
7	Colorado Rush 13-4-2	-- Last Week: NR	Despite having beaten them once this year, Colorado Rush still sits just behind Real Colorado for first place in the Mountain West. The early June match could change that. Next Match: June 3 vs. Real Colorado
8	Eclipse Select 12-4-3	-- Last Week: NR	This is a team that beat No. 2 Hawks once this year and has a few other impressive wins. Next month's match with Carmel United could launch them into second place in the Midwest. Next Match: May 11 vs. Carmel United
9	Albertson SC 7-3-1	5 Last Week: 4	Two losses last weekend to Stars of Mass and Scorpions drop Albertson Fury down to No. 9 this week. They'll have to prove themselves when they play both teams again in May. Next Match: April 28 vs. Freestate Alliance
