ECNL U17 Power Rankings

6/7/2012

Eclipse Select has clinched the top overall seed in this month's ECNL National Championships, which will be held in the team's backyard in Waukegan, Ill. The team is still ranked at No. 2 in this week's ESPNHS ECNL Under-17 Power Rankings after a 1-1 weekend.

CASL Chelsea holds the No. 1 spot and has been idle all spring. No. 3 Dallas Texans had a solid weekend with a pair of wins and it has one game left to try to clinch the Texas Conference title.

The only other team in action last weekend was No. 7 Colorado Rush, who had an important win over rival Real Colorado on Wednesday. That win put Rush in the driver's seat in the quest for the Mountain West crown.

This weekend, three teams wrap up their regular season, including Texans and Rush. No. 4 Scorpions is also searching for a conference title this weekend, as it has two games to prove themselves as the top team in the Northeast.

Throughout the rest of the season, ESPNHS will offer a weekly glance at the top 10 teams in each age group. These rankings, indicative of the results of a team rather than a prediction of future outcomes, offer a sampling of some of the top talent in the game.
