The winter-playing states are: Arizona, California, Florida, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada and Texas.

Rankings reflect matches played through Sunday, Feb. 19.

Last week's action left almost no change in the Top 25; however, one school added to an amazing national record.

No. 13 Ursuline Academy (Dallas) won its 22nd straight Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) state title with a 2-0 victory over St. Agnes (Houston). To put Ursuline's win in perspective, the senior members on the team that started the streak are about to turn 40 years old!

12 (12)Coppell
Coppell, TX
12-2-3A win and a tie last week were good enough to keep Coppell in second place behind Southlake Carroll in the District 8-5A race.
13 (13)Ursuline Academy
Dallas, TX
22-2Season complete. TAPPS Division I state champion. Natalie Barnet and Kellie Schnurr scored second-half goals to lift Ursuline over St. Agnes 2-0 for the Bears' 22nd straight TAPPS state title. The key results for Ursuline this year include a 3-0 win over Florida state champion American Heritage, a 4-0 win over nationally ranked Kingwood. The team's losses were a 2-0 setback to Marcus and a 2-1 loss to Plano West, a pair of top five teams.
14 (14)Saint Thomas Aquinas School
Fort Lauderdale, FL
26-1-1Season complete. Florida Class 5A state champion. This might have been coach Carlos Giron's most surprising state title. After losing 10 starters from last year's national No. 1 team, the Raiders put together a second straight undefeated season in Florida and rallied late for a 3-2 win over Hagerty in the state final. Ashley Cardounel delivered the match-winning goal in overtime, giving the Raiders a record 12th state title. Since the 13 schools ahead of St. Thomas Aquinas will soon sort out their standing on the field, it is likely the Raiders will creep up in the rankings in the next few weeks.

Danville, CA
18-1-4San Ramon Valley cruised into the semifinals of the CIF-North Coast Section Division I semifinals behind a pair of 3-0 wins last week. Like St. Thomas Aquinas, American Heritage-Delray posted a perfect record against Florida schools, but its 1-2-1 showing at the National Elite Prep Showcase demonstrates how this team stacks up to the elite powers of California and Texas.
21 (22)Baker
Cape Coral, FL
26-2-4Season complete. Florida Class 4A state champion. Monique Elliott's dramatic goal against the run of play in the closing two minutes lifted Baker to a 1-0 victory over George Jenkins in the state final. Elliott hustled to gather a ball that was heading out-of-bounds and rolled a right-footed shot from a near impossible angle that went just over the goal line for the deciding score. The victory earned Baker its first-ever state title and with it a guaranteed Top 25 final ranking.
22 (23)George Jenkins
Lakeland, FL
26-1Season complete. Class 4A state runner-up. George Jenkins outshot and out-possessed Ida Baker in the state final, but this perennial state challenger could not find the net in a 1-0 loss.
