Deja vu has hit this week's ESPN RISE FAB 50 softball rankings as the top 15 teams are unchanged from a week ago.

Gayla Brown/ESPNRISEMeagan May is batting .500 for top-ranked Klein Oak (Spring, Texas).

However, this could be the calm before the storm.

Postseason playoffs get underway in a fast and furious way this week in the power states of Texas and Florida with Arizona right behind. As past experience in compiling rankings has shown, state playoffs do have the tendency to produce upsets.

The highest-ranked team to lose was previous No. 16 Pembroke Pines Charter (Pembroke Pines, Fla.), but the Jags weren't knocked out of the playoffs and didn't drop that far in this week's rankings.

The highest-ranked newcomer is new No. 40 Canyon (Anaheim, Calif.), a recent finalist at the Nike Faster to First tourney and a team that has played well in recent weeks, especially when sophomore Cheyanne Tarango is in the circle.
