Local Basketball Rankings Minnesota

Each month, ESPN RISE will rank the top prep basketball team's in each area. Here are the top five teams for the Minnesota area.

1. Hopkins The combination of seniors Royce White and Trent Lockett make the Royals the odds-on favorite to claim a state crown this year.

2. Robbinsdale Cooper The best player in the state may be senior Rodney Williams. His playmaking ability should keep the Hawks competitive.

3. Cretin-Derham hall Junior Seantrel Henderson, already considered one of the nation's top football recruits, is equally as impressive on the hardwood.

4. Osseo Center Sam Downer is an under-the-radar big man, but he's not to be taken lightly. He can dominate a game with his inside presence.

5. Henry Sibley Senior Mike Bruesewitz, a 6-foot-7 power forward and a Wisconsin recruit, helped the Warriors win 14 consecutive games last year.
