PRIME-TIME PLAYERS

SEBASTIAN BAHOS
Bahos recorded 11 goals and 14 assists last year to lead the Spartans to a district title in just their second varsity season. He was the District 24-4A MVP and earned a spot on the Class 4A All-State team.

WILL BETTS
Betts was the only area boys' soccer player to earn 2008 NSCAA/adidas All-American honors. The reigning District 19-4A MVP scored 14 goals and tallied nine assists last season.

ADDIE EGGLESTON
Eggleston picked up 2008 NSCAA/adidas All-American honors, one of just 18 underclassmen on the 73-member team. An All-SPC performer, Eggleston also stars for the Houston Challenge club team.

OLIVIA KINTIGH
Kintigh's return is a major reason why the Highlanders opened the season ranked No. 13 nationally in the ESPN RISE FAB 50. Last year's District 15-5A co- MVP looks to lead the team to state in 2009.

COACH'S TAKE

AN AREA COACH ON KRISTEN BOWEN:
"She has excellent one-on-one skills. She is so valuable as a sweeper because if anyone gets beat in front of her she always seems to pick up the slack."
