Felton batted .510 and drove in 30 runs last year to earn All-East Valley Tribune Class 5A first team honors. He also led No. 12-seeded Corona del Sol to a firstround 5A-I upset of No. 5 Brophy Prep.

Helm was more well known for his bat last year, as his .490 batting average and seven home runs can attest. His pitching stats last year were also impressive. He was 8-3 for Hamilton with a 2.03 ERA.

Rated the nation's No. 37 player in the Class of 2009 by Perfect Game, Stevenson's heavy, hard fastball and great pitch movement have some teams considering picking him early in this year's MLB Draft.

When Upperman takes the mound, opposing teams' bats seem to take the day off. His 7-0 record and 0.58 ERA last year were good enough for All- East Valley Tribune 4A-1A second team honors.

Coach's Take

"He's a hitter, for sure. He hits for power, and he's got a good compact swing. When you're getting all of the attention he's getting, it's hard to play your game, but he's doing a pretty good job."
