The St. John's-bound Brennan hit .467 with 25 runs scored and 19 extra-base hits last year as Suffern advanced to the Class AA championship against Mamaroneck. He was MVP of League I-B.

The state's best player, the Duke-bound Stroman can beat you with his glove, arm or bat. Last year, he hit .400 while scoring 28 runs and stealing 30 bases. On the mound, he went 8-1 with a 1.85 ERA.

Hajjar led the Clippers to a CHSAA city title by throwing a complete game and adding four RBIs in a 7-1 win over Moore Catholic last year. On the season, he went 8-0 with a 1.65 ERA while hitting .389.

Parra's postseason last year is the stuff of legends. He threw back-to-back no-hitters in the playoffs, guiding Gompers to the PSAL semifinals. He was a Daily News first team All-City pick.

Coach's Take

"Kyle is just a guy who's blessed with a lot of physical tools. He's tall, lanky and throws hard. He's going to have an opportunity to pitch further than most high school kids."
