This sophomore catcher does it all.
He calls a good game, blocks pitches
in the dirt and can throw out his
share of would-be base stealers.
But when he steps to the plate,
instead of behind it, he's just as
dangerous. In a 7-2 win over MSIT on
April 13, Galeano had a huge tworun
double to put the game away.
Last year ended in disappointing
fashion for Galeano, as he was
called for a controversial obstruction
call while tagging out a runner
that allowed Clinton to defeat
Telecom, 4-3. Galeano has bounced
back from that and is expecting a
better ending to the 2009 season.
