Southeast Team Shines at Champion Gridiron Kings

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- After three rounds of pool play competitions, the Southeast team beat the West team, 12-6, in the inaugural Champion Gridiron Kings at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex. The Southeast team was coached by Louis Oliver (retired NFL safety and University of Florida alum) and Lamar Thomas (retired NFL wide receiver and University of Miami alum). Gerald Christian from the Southeast team was named Offensive MVP and Latwan Anderson from the Midwest team was named Defensive MVP of the event.

ESPNU will televise one hour of Gridiron Kings on tape delay Tuesday, July 28 at 7 p.m. ET.
