Dear Coach,
 
Below is an announcement for the 10th Annual Sierra Cross Country Invitational on 
September 8th, 2012 which we will be hosting at Tuolumne River Regional Park in
Modesto. 
 
If you are planning on attending, please RSVP as soon as possible to guarantee 
your school a spot.  Adding the meet to athletic.net does not guarantee you a
spot in the meet.  Last year we had a very high turnout and did end up turning
schools away.
 
We have added a Freshmen Girls and Boys race this year to give you more options! 
 
As always, do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.  We will
send more detailed meet information in August.

10th Annual Sierra Cross Country Invitational WHEN: Saturday, September 8th, 2012 WHERE: Tuolumne River Regional Park/Legion Park in S.E. Modesto TIME: First race scheduled to start at 9:00 am with all other races scheduled to follow. Seven races are scheduled, with team awards presentation around 11:45am. DIVISIONS & RACE DISTANCES: (Unlimited number of runners for lower level races/ JV race. 10 runner limit for Varsity races) FROSH GIRLS (Small and Large) 2 miles FROSH BOYS (Small and Large) 2 miles SOPH GIRLS (Small and Large) 2 miles SOPH BOYS (Small and Large) 2 miles VARSITY GIRLS ((Small and Large) 5k VARSITY BOYS (Small and Large) 5k JV BOYS & GIRLS COMBINED 2 miles COURSE DESCRIPTION: Mostly flat and shady with asphalt, grass, dirt along the banks of the Tuolumne River. All miles are accurately marked. COST: $5.00 per individual, with a maximum of $160.00 per school. AWARDS: Shoe bags to top ten finishers in Frosh, Soph, & Varsity races for each gender, with top three JV finishers of each gender receiving shoe bags. Team plaques to top schools in Frosh and Soph divisions and top three teams in Varsity divisions. This is an initial notice so that you may mark the date on your 2012 schedule.
