Dear Coach,

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the First Annual Ghebray Invitational to be held September 22, 2012 at Quarry Lakes Regional Park in Fremont. As this is the first cross country invitational for James Logan, we have made it our number one priority to provide a well-organized meet that allows runners the opportunity to showcase their skills in one of the more scenic courses in the Bay Area. All runners will run in their respective age/grades. There are 3 courses. The middle course is 1.35 miles, the coaches, boys frosh/soph and junior varsity course is 2.0 miles and the varsity course is 3.0 miles. There will be an open race which will follow the boys varsity race. There race will be a school alumni race as well. Alumni teams must have 5 runners.

This event will be dedicated to Yosef Ghebray and Giliat Ghebray who graduated from James Logan High School and established themselves as the best Cross Country runners to come out James Logan High School. Both went to Cal Berkley and were All-Americans while at Cal. Both qualified for the Olympic Trials and are still striving to make themselves better runners and to qualify for the next Olympic Trials in 2016.

Attached you will the general information about the meet. Most important information is the meet deadline entry – September 18, 2012. All entries can be made through fordtiming.com.
