Bailey wins showdown; Hill completes double
Big marks for Williams, Madu

HIGHLIGHTS
** W-1500: US#1 4:14.74 (#2 all-time, soph USR) for Mary Cain NY as she led wire-to-wire and kicked hard to win. US#2 4:18.44 for Hannah Meier MI as she outkicked Cayla Hatton MA (4:19.31) in the final stretch.
** W-Hept: US#1 5,481 (#4 all-time, junior class USR) for prep Kendell Williams GA, after second day marks of 20-2.5 (+1.4w), 94-0, and 2:29.47. She was passed for the win on the final event by collegian Erica Bougard of Mississippi State, as last year's #1 prep ran 2:14.39.
** W-TJ: US#1 42-9.75 (+0.4w) for prep Jennifer Madu TX, adding to her Team USA berth in the 100 (2nd) yesterday. Previous US#1 Sasha Wallace CA was third.
** M-200: 20.57 (+0.1w) for US#1 prep Tyreek Hill GA, completing a 100/200 sprint double.
** M-400: 45.37 for US#1 prep Aldrich Bailey TX, just off his PR and topping 2011 World Youth champ Arman Hall FL (45.77), who was also just off his US#2 best.
** M-3k ST: 9:06.83 for prep Darren Fahy CA, just three seconds off his US#1.
** M-1500: US#2 3:46.67 for prep Izaic Yorks WA, who nabbed second with a fantastic kick. He passed collegian Chad Noelle of Oregon (3:46.69) and was second only to defending champion collegian Austin Mudd of Wisconsin (3:46.50).
**W-SP: 50-4.75 for US#1 prep Tori Owers GA, who moved into 2nd on her final throw to make her second straight Team USA.
** W-PV: US#4 13-3.5 for prep Sydney White NC, making her 2nd straight Team USA, trailing only collegian Emily Grove of South Dakota.
** W-400: US#4 52.60 for prep Kendall Baisden MI, taking third behind collegians Ashley Spencer of Illinois (51.68) and Erica Rucker of South Carolina (52.27). US#2 prep Robin Reynolds FL was 7th in 53.87.
** W-200: 23.47 for US#1 prep Shayla Sanders FL, third behind collegians Olivia Ekpone and Dezerea Bryant, and less than .001 ahead of prep Tristie Johnson FL.
** M-10k RW: Prep Tyler Sorensen CA made his second World Junior team with a 45:35.46, winning by 25 seconds.
** W-10k RW: Prep Maite Moscoso FL won by more than a minute and a half with 54:32.82.

** M-400H: US#1 50.73 for prep Eric Futch PA, improving on the previous national leader he set in the prelims. US#2 and #3 for preps Donovan Robertson OH (51.66) and Randy Bermea TX (51.75) in 3rd and 4th.
** W-400H: US#1 57.44 for prep Shamier Little IL, coming from behind. US#4 59.32 for Tia Gamble TX in 4th.
** W-LJ: 20-5.75 (+0.1) win for prep Robin Reynolds FL, just off her legal PR and overcoming a series with just three fair jumps (one foul, two passes due to running 400). Jasmine Gibbs CA 20-3.5 (+0.2w) in third behind collegian Le'Tristan Pledger of Texas Tech. Prep Kendell Williams GA was fourth and NBNI/Great Southwest champ Sydney Conley AR didn't make the final.
** M-TJ: 51-3.75 (+0.5w) for US#1 prep Jarrion Lawson TX, just off his PR, completing the horizontal jumps double. Fellow Texan Felix Obi was third with 51-0.75 (+0.4).
** W-800: 2:04.86 for US#1 Ajee Wilson NJ, just holding off the huge PR US#4 2:05.06 of Danielle Aragon MT as preps went 1-2.
** M-800: 1:49.57 for prep Tanner Sork WA in second place behind collegian Shaquille Walter of BYU.
** W-5k: 16:24.87 for prep Cayla Hatton MA in second as collegian Allison Woodward of Oregon came from way behind to win in 16:15.27. NBNI 5k champ Erin Finn MI was fourth in 16:58.77.
** W-100H: US#4 13.45 (-1.8w) for prep soph Dior Hall CO in second behind collegian Morgan Snow of Texas (13.26). Hall beat two ranked ahead of her in US#3 2011 World Youth champ Trinity Wilson CA (3rd 13.52) and US#1 Sasha Wallace (5th 13.55).
** W-Hept: A leading 3,431 first day points for prep Kendell Williams GA, as she went 13.73 100H (-0.3w), 5-11.5 HJ, 32-3.75 SP and 24.82 (-0.6w) 200. She has a 90 point lead.
** M-400 Pre: 45.93 for Aldrich Bailey TX and 46.73 for Arman Hall FL as the two prep rivals won the second and third of three heats and posted the first and third best times overall.
** W-400 Pre: 53.15 for Kendall Baisden MI and 53.24 for Robin Reynolds FL as the 2011 World Youth teammates won heats three and four out of four, and posted the third and fourth best times overall behind a pair of collegians.
** W-200 Pre: 23.49 (-2.1w) for US#1 prep Shayla Sanders FL, winning first heat and leading three more preps into final: Her teammate Kali Davis-White FL, Tristie Johnson FL, and Ariana Washington CA. Top qualifier was 100 champ collegian Dezerea Bryant of Clemson (23.31, -0.6w).
** M-200 Pre: Four preps into final, including heat 3 winner Tyreek Hill GA, who shut it down way earlier in a 21.35, plus Marcus Chambers WA (21.08), Kendal Williams FL, and Devon Allen AZ. Top qualifier was collegian Aaron Ernest of LSU (20.96, -1.5w).
** M-SP: 61-0.25 for the junior weight implement by Thomas Anderson MN in fifth, the top high schooler as Stephen Mozia of Cornell won with 66-3.25.
** M-Deca: 7,760 points for collegian and DyeStat alum Gunnar Nixon of Arkansas, 12 points better than he scored last year in the junior 10-eventer.
** W-HT: US Junior record 223-6 by DyeStat alum and Throw 1 Deep's Shelby Ashe, to make her second World Jr team.

Hill, Madu bounce back from Dream 100 disappointment
HIGHLIGHTS
** W-DT: US#1 prep Shelbi Vaughan TX resets her USR TWICE and adds the US Junior mark in the process with 196-11 on her fourth throw and then 198-11 on her sixth. Prep Maggie Ewen MN 171-0 is third, just two inches behind USC's Alex Collatz.
** M-100: GA prep Tyreek Hill bounced back from his Dream Mile DQ to win decisively in 10.28 into a 1.8 headwind. He'll be joined by LSU frosh and DyeStat alum Aaron Ernest (10.46) and fourth-place prep Cameron Burrell TX (10.64) might get 4x1 detail in Barcelona.
** W-100: TX prep Jennifer Madu, the 2011 World Youth champ, rebounded from fifth in the Dream Mile and finished a strong second in 11.56 (-0.2w) behind Clemson frosh Dezerea Bryant (11.43) and ahead of US#1 Shayla Sanders FL (11.57).
** M-110H: US#5 13.56 (-1.8w) for Dondre Echols MD .
** M-HT: 232-1 victory for US#1 prep Rudy Winkler NY, the second best mark of the season with the junior weight hammer behind his own 237-0.
** W-JT: 166-7 victory for prep and USR-holder Haley Crouser OR, topping Stanford's Brianna Bain.
** M-JT: 237-6 triumph for US#2 prep Sean Keller WA.
** M-LJ: 25-6 victory for US#1 prep Jarrion Lawson TX.
** W-3k ST: 10:23.57 win for US#1 prep Brianna Nerud NY.
** M-5k: US#6 14:44.58 for soph Kai Wilmot WA in fifth as the top prep. Okla. State's Kirubel Erassa won in 14:28.00
** M-PV: Meet record 18-2 for collegian (Ga. Tech) Nikita Kirillov as Jacob Blankenship OH is top prep in 3rd with 16-8.75. ** W-100 Pre: Five preps qualified for the final, led by Shayla Sanders FL heat 2 winner in 11.52. Jennifer Madu TX, Tristie Johnson FL, Ariana Washington CA and Sanders' teammate Kali Davis-White FL also made it in. Clemson frosh Dezerea Bryant fastest overall at 11.38.
** M-100 Pre: GA prep Tyreek Hill, who infamously false-started in the Dream Mile, led prep and overall qualifiers into the final, winning heat 2 of 2 with 10.28 (-0.9). Abraham Hall TX and Cameron Burrell TX also made it in. Marvin Bracy FL did not start.
** M-110H Pre: Devon Allen AZ leads six preps in to the finals with a 13.59 (.
** W-800 Pre: US#1 prep Ajee Wilson NJ won heat 1 of 3 easily in 2:08.00 to lead qualifiers. Danielle Aragon MT kicked to a slow-paced 2:10.45 heat 3 winner to make #2-seeded collegian Shelly Houlihan a shocking non-qualifier for the final. Other preps to the final: Savannah Camacho CA, Jamie Morrissey MI, Ersula Farrow MI, Courtney Clayton IL.
** W-400H Pre: US#3 59.53 for prep Shamier Little IL to win second heat and lead qualifying. Nnenya Hailey GA appeared to win heat 1 in US#1 58.78, but was later DQ'd for a hurdle infraction (hooking hurdle).
** M-1500 Pre: Preps Izaic Yorks WA (3:50.62), Craig Nowak TX (3:50.73) and Josh Lampron MA (3:53.12) all qualified for the final (Marcus Dickson WA was a late scratch). Penn St. frosh Robby Creese was fastest overall at 3:49.33.
** W-1500 Pre: Preps Cayla Hatton MA, Cami Chapus CA, Rebecca Topham IA and Nikki Hiltz CA took the top four spots to advance from heat one. Then in heat two, preps Mary Cain NY (top qualifying 4:24.25) and Hannah Meier MI finished 1-2. Nine of the 12 finalists are high schoolers.
** M-Deca: DyeStat alum Gunnar Nixon of Arkansas leads with 4,062 after five events.

JUNIOR MEN'S PREVIEW: The 400 battle between sub-46 performers Aldrich Bailey and Arman Hall is full of history and drama.
