US top 3 wins for Palmer, Chambers

Young Men/Women Highlights
** M-400H: US#2 51.59 for Pickerington North OH jr Desmond Palmer (Pacesetters TC), topping US#6 52.01 by Willingboro NJ jr Brandon Hill (Trenton TC).
** M-400: US#3 46.18 for Foss WA jr Marcus Chambers (Seatown Express), winning by almost a second (the best for any non-senior this year) and adding to his 200 silver Saturday.
** M-200: 10.44 (+0.6w) for Mansfield Timberview TX sr Aldrich Bailey (Dallas Gold), topping 10.39 prelim performer Forest Park VA soph Musatqeem Williams' (PWC Panthers) 10.53 and completing a 100/200 double.
** W-400H: 59.45 for US#1 and Lindblom Prep IL jr Shamier Little (UCTC Titans), who represented Team USA as a World Junior finalist, edging US#6 59.57 by Concordia Lutheran IN soph Symone Black (Ft. Wayne Express).
** W-100H: US#7 13.61 (+0.1w) for Fairfield CA sr Daje Pugh (ISC International), topping 13.72 by Clayton NC jr Mollie Williams (Hurdles First TC) and US#12 13.79 by Lindblom Prep IL jr Shamier Little (UCTC Titans).
** W-100: 11.56 (+1.8w) for Lincoln-Way East IL jr Aaliyah Brown (Illinois Elite), adding to her 200 silver Saturday.
** W-400: 53.90 for Detroit Country Day MI jr Kendall Baisden (Maximum Output), edging the 53.97 by Martin Luther King GA sr Felicia Brown (Sprint Athletics) and denying Brown a 200/400 double.
** M-4x400: 3:07.64 for Track Express TC, edging Trenton TC 3:07.75 and just 1.42 off the USATF JO National record.
** W-4x400: 3:41.3h for Glenarden TC, nipping Off TC, which was given the same time.

** G-100H: USATF JO National record and US#14 (#3 soph) 13.80 (+0.6w) for Romulus MI soph Quenee' Dale (Michigan Accelerators TC), beating Yolanda Johnson's 1984 record and Trinity Wilson's 2010 meet record.
** G-400H: 1:01.14 for Lovett GA frosh Khadejah Jackson, US#1 for 9th-graders.
** B-1500: 3:58.17 for Waseca MN frosh Shane Streich, US#1 for 9th-graders.
** G-400: 53.78 for Grayson GA frosh Aliyah Abrams (Tachyon TC), just .05 off her frosh US#1 and topping prelims leader McEachern GA soph Cierra Dunston (Titans TC) 54.46.

** G-4x400: 3:43.83 for Titans TC, to win by more than seven seconds.
** B-4x400: 3:20.08 for Carolina All-Stars.

** YG-100: USATF JO National record 11.59 (+1.2w) for 8th-grader Kaylin Whitney (Star Athletics), topping not only the previous 11.73 NR by Kendall Baisden, but also the 1999 meet record 11.61 by Sanya Richards (before she was U.S. citizen), and completing a 100/200 national record double. Whitney would be US#9 if she was a prep.
** MB-1500: USATF JO National record 4:22.05 for Coleman Mitchell (Triangle Champions TC), beating a 1980 mark by Tony Perez and a 2005 meet record by Elias Gedyon. Jason Gomez (Oak Hill Racing) at 4:27.41 and Damian Smith (Las Vegas Heat TC) at 4:29.98 also topped Gedyon's MR.
** MB-100: 11.79 (-0.1w) for Jordan Byrd (Big Red Express), completing a near-record sprint double (23.64 200 Saturday).
** MG-200: 12.58 (+0.5w) for Eliza Brown (Second Chance TC), completing a dominating sprint double (24.89 200 Saturday).
** MG-80H: 11.93w (+2.6) for Jada Hicks (Calif. Rising Stars TC), .01 inside the meet record, but too windy for consideration. She was also second in the 100.
** MB-80H: 12.08 (+1.1w) for Jaiden Woodbey (Calif. Rising Stars TC), adding to his pentathlon victory and shot put runner-up.
** YB-1500: 4:12.38 for Jacob Ogden (South Orange Co. Wildcats), completing a 1500/3000 double.
** YB-100H/200H: 13.71 (+0.7w) / 25.01 (+1.8w) double for Denzel Harper (Quicksilver).
** YG-1500: 4:37.41 for Danae Rivers (New Haven TC).


SATURDAY: Hightower up to 7-3 HJ; blazing 200s

** M-HJ: US#1 7-3 for Curtis WA sr Dakarai Hightower (Flying AJs TC), just three-quarters of an inch of the meet record. Hightower was just a 6-10 jumper before summer track.
** M-200: US#6 20.78 (+0.6w) for Mansfield Timberview TX sr and World Junior 400 bronze medalist Aldrich Bailey (Dallas Gold), topping US#20 21.06 by Foss WA jr Marcus Chambers (Seatown Express).
** W-200: US#9 23.62 (+0.5w) for Martin Luther King GA sr Felicia Brown (Sprint Athletics), ahead of US#11 23.74 by Lincoln-Way East IL jr Aaliyah Brown (Illinois Elite).
** M-800: 1:50.03 for Cardinal Ritter MO jr Charles Jones Jr., just .07 off his US#10 and soph class #1 of 1:49.96.
** W-JT: US#15 149-10 for Arkansas City KS jr Nicolle Murphy (Unatt.). Legacy NV sr Avione Allgood (Vegas Valley TC), the USATF JO National record-holder and former USR-holder, was fifth (139-4) as she continues to come back from surgery.
** W-4x100: 45.46 for Glenarden TC. ** M-4x100: 40.38 for Track Houston TC, following a 40.21 prelim. ** W-400H: 1:00.16 semi for US#1 and Lindblom Prep IL jr Shamier Little (UCTC Titans), who represented Team USA as a World Junior finalist, leading qualifiers into the final.

** G-DT: 151-4 for Liberty NV soph Ashlie Blake (Vegas Valley TC), just off her meet record 152-11 and completing a shot/discus sweep.
** G-200: US#10 23.67 (+1.4w) by Wayne IN soph Brionna Thomas (Ft. Wayne Express TC), beating 23.92 for Grayson GA frosh Aliyah Abrams (Tachyon TC), who topped her own frosh US#1.
** B-200: 21.27 (+0.1w) for Papillion-La Vista NE soph Kenzo Cotton (Bellevue Breeze), just .17 off Obea Moore's USATF JO National record and US#2 for sophomores.
** G-4x100: 46.48 for Ft. Wayne Express, winning by .004 over Carolina Elite.

** YG-200: Amazing USATF JO National record 23.41 (+0.5w) for Kaylin Whitney (Star Athletics), topping not only the previous 23.69 NR by Kendall Baisden, but the 1999 meet record 23.63 by Sanya Richards (before she was U.S. citizen). Whitney would be US#4 if she was a prep.
** BB-SP: USATF JO National record 43-11 for Dylan Carter (Unatt.), smashing the former mark by about three feet.
** BG-4x100: USATF JO National record 52.91 for Miramar Optimist TC, breaking their own mark from the prelims.
** YB-3k: 9:08.51 for Jacob Ogden (South Orange Co. Wildcats), just .38 off the meet record and four seconds off the USATF JO National record.


FRIDAY: Prelims almost complete; two big finals days ahead

Young Men/Women Highlights
** W-PV: US#6 13-3.5 to win for Bloomington Cath. Cent. IL jr Sarah Bell (Flying Dragons), beating 12-9.5 by Boswell TX jr Lakan Taylor (Unatt.).
** W-TJ: US#7 40-9.75 (+0.6w) for Holt MO jr Nataliyah Friar (St. Louis Lightning TC), beating US#9 40-4.25 (+0.3w) by Juanita WA sr Alanna Coker as five jumped 39-8 or better.
** M-100: US#8 and soph class #1 10.39 (+1.0w) for Forest Park VA soph Musatqeem Williams (PWC Panthers) to win the first of three semis and lead qualifiers into the finals. 10.45 (+1.1w) for Mansfield Timberview TX sr Aldrich Bailey (Dallas Gold), who led first round performers, to win the third semi.
** M-TJ: 49-8.5 (-2.3w) win for US#2 Franklin TX sr Felix Obi (Texas Heat TC), who represented Team USA in this event at World Juniors.
** W-400: 53.37 to win semifinal two for Detroit Country Day MI jr Kendall Baisden (Maximum Output), about a second faster than prelims leader and Martin Luther King GA sr Felicia Brown (Sprint Athletics), who took semi one in 54.35.
** M-110H: 13.97w (+2.7) semi for Crete-Monee IL sr Rashad Hulbert (Illinois Storm TC) to pace qualifiers into the final.
** W-100H: 13.67w (+3.6) semi for Clayton NC jr Mollie Williams (Hurdles First TC) to lead finals qualifiers.
** M-4x400: 3:12.94 for Track Express TC to lead qualifiers into the final.

Intermediate Boys/Girls Highlights
** B-110H: 13.96w (+3.5) semi for Cummings NC soph Isaiah Moore (Durham Striders), who also won the LJ, to pace qualifiers into the final.

** MB-HJ: USATF JO national record 5-9.25 for Sean Lee (USA High Jump), to win by eight inches.
** MB-100: Meet record 11.68 (+1.2w) semi for Jordan Byrd (Big Red Express) to lead finals qualifiers (just .04 off USATF JO national record).


THURSDAY: Bailey down to 20.82

Young Men/Women Highlights
** M-200: US#7 20.82 (+1.3w) semi for Mansfield Timberview TX sr and World Junior 400 bronze medalist Aldrich Bailey (Dallas Gold), ahead of Hastings TX sr Ahmed Ali (Track Houston) 21.05 (-0.4w), leading qualifiers into the final.
** M-400: US#12 46.88 prelim for Foss WA jr Marcus Chambers (Seatown Express), leading qualifiers into the semis.
** W-DT: US#13 156-9 victory for Montesano WA sr Tera Novy (Unatt.).
** M-3k ST: 6:13.77 win for Thomas Jefferson NY jr Sidgie Greene (Metropolis TC), winning his second major club title in two weeks.
** W-400/200: 54.98 prelim for Martin Luther King GA sr Felicia Brown (Sprint Athletics), ahead of Detroit Country Day jr and World Junior 4x4 gold medalist Kendall Basiden (Maximum Output) 55.17, topping qualifiers into the semis. Brown also ran a 24.22 semi (+0.8w) to lead qualifiers into the 200 final.

** G-LJ: 39-6 (-0.2w) for El Dorado TX frosh Felicienne Axel (Texas Heat TC), top 9th-grade mark in the country.
** G-PV: 12-3.5 for Hays TX frosh Meagan Gray (Lone Star PV), just 2.5" off her frosh US#2 mark.
** G-400: Near-PR 54.54 prelim for McEachern GA soph Cierra Dunston (Titans TC) for fastest overall female in the event in qualifying.

** M-100/200: US#10 10.42 (+0.4w) and US#19 21.05 prelims for Mansfield Timberview TX sr and World Junior 400 bronze medalist Aldrich Bailey (Dallas Gold), leading qualifiers into the semis in both. Also, US#15 10.47 for Glasgow DE sr Leshon Collins (Unatt.), qualifying second overall.
