Got Game: Greater Seattle

Who's got game? Each month, ESPN Rise finds out. Here are athletes we recognized from the Seattle area in September:

Ashleigh Pollard
Rogers -- Girls' Volleyball
Pollard is one of the top returning players in the
state. She racked up the accolades last season,
winning the South Puget Sound League MVP
award for the second straight year as well as
the Tacoma News Tribune All-Area Player of the
Year. Pollard was also an honorable mention All-
American pick by PrepVolleyball.com. Her season
helped Rogers capture its second straight
SPSL South regular season title. Pollard will
look for conference title No. 3 this fall.

Devin McMahon
Redmond -- Girls' Cross Country
McMahon is only a junior, but in her first two seasons
she has asserted herself as one of the top runners
in the state. Last year, she finished second at
the KingCo's 4A tournament, first at districts and
fourth at state with a time of 18:55. McMahon has
competed in national cross country events in New
Mexico, Illinois and Rhode Island and finished in
the Top 25 at a national event as a seventh-
grader. McMahon looks to replicate
her success this season.

Andre Barrington
Federal Way -- Football
Barrington missed a few games last season because of an ankle
injury, but it didn't stop the running back from piling up close to
800 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns in seven games. With
a clean bill of health now, the All-Area first team
pick by ESPN RISE should be one of the top
backs in the state. This year, Barrington
looks to bring Federal Way back to
state after a heartbreaking sixpoint
loss last year in the
qualifying round.
