The Grandstand at Hipodromo Presidente Remon will be full of action for the Classic card.
Answer: Get shot. That's the joke around this place, which was named in honor of President José Antonio Remón Cantera. A longtime supporter of the sport, Cantera was murdered by machinegun fire on Jan. 2, 1955 when he was attending the races at Panama's old Hipodromo Juan Franco. Just six months later, on July 14, 1956, the new oval that had already been under construction was opened and dedicated to his memory.

Mexico's Veritas is the 6-5 morning line choice.
