Eleven entered for Preakness

A field of 11, including four of the top five finishers in the Kentucky Derby, have been entered for the May 19 Preakness Stakes.

The field was narrowed May 16 following the withdrawal of Guyana Star Dweej from consideration. Trainer Doodnauth Shivmangal said the son of Eddington grabbed a quarter.

Post positions and morning line odds will be determined during the draw at 6 p.m. on May 16. The post positions will be posted immediately at Bloodhorse.com.

The field is headed by Derby winner I'll Have Another and includes Bodemeister, Went the Day Well, and Creative Cause, the respective second, fourth, and fifth-place finishers in the Derby.
