Elite Warriors company

The list of players in Warriors franchise history with consecutive 35-point road games in the playoffs is short, but sweet:

  • 2015 Stephen Curry
  • 1967 Rick Barry
  • 1964 Wilt Chamberlain
  • Another short fight at UFC 186

John Makdessi landed a huge shot to the face of Shane Campbell with about 2 minutes left in the round. Campbell tried to battle until the break, but was dropped to the canvas late in the round, and Makdessi earns the TKO win at 4:53 of the 1st.

    Step-back Steph

It may be ho-hum to Stephen Curry, but it's still boggling to see. Curry goes between the legs, jab steps and pops behind the arc for a silky trey. It was one of six that helped eliminate the Pelicans from the first round.

Highlight: Cards lose Wainwright in win

Adam Wainwright limped off after suffering a left ankle injury while batting, but Matt Holliday's 3-run HR helped put the Cardinals ahead for good in a 5-3 win over the MLB-worst Brewers.

Blackhawks with the first break in the third period. Bartley called for hooking. Shaw kept that possession alive.

    Baxter Holmes @BaxterHolmes

Wes Matthews enters Moda Center for first time since his Achilles injury and dos so wearing an Ironman helmet. Crowd goes nuts.

    Warriors sweep Pelicans from playoffs

It's the first sweep for the Warriors since the 1975 Finals -- the last time they won the title. Stephen Curry finished with 39 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists in the 109-98 victory. Box score

    Flames tie it up

Needing a win to stay alive, the Canucks have let a 2-goal lead slip away. Johnny Gaudreau scored his 2nd goal of the series and it's a 3-3 game in the second period in Calgary. Follow live
