The Tigers made the first big free agent move of the winter by signing Jordan Zimmermann to a 5-year, $110 million contract, and it's likely they'll follow up by adding another veteran to slot in behind Justin Verlander, Anibal Sanchez and Zimmermann in the rotation. Doug Fister, who could be looking for a short-term deal to re-establish himself after a rough 2015 season, appears to fit the profile. But he's not the only available option.
