Ted Ginn has caught more passes for more yards than any other Panther, but good lord. He wants no part of contact. Not even in the Super Bowl.

Panthers had given up two sacks, three QB hits in first two playoff games. Four sacks, nine hits so far. Not even in the fourth quarter yet.

End Kony Ealy is having a big game with two sacks and a pick. He will be a bright spot entering the 2016 season.

Broncos get ball on wild play

Cam Newton's pass went through Ted Ginn's hands and landed right in the hands of Broncos safety T.J. Ward -- who promptly fumbled on the return. Linebacker Danny Trevathan fell on it to secure Denver's third takeaway of Super Bowl 50. Follow live

Remember when Panthers wide receiver Philly Brown dropped everything during the preseason? Wow.

David Newton ESPN Staff Writer

Peyton Manning attacked Panthers cornerback Robert McClain for a couple of big plays that set up the field goal. But Manning and Broncos continues to struggle on third down. They are 1-for-9. Panthers aren't much better at 3-for-10.

Broncos extend lead to 16-7

Brandon McManus did what Graham Gano could not, connecting on a field goal to give the Broncos a 9-point lead midway through the third quarter of Super Bowl 50. McManus is 3-for-3 on field goals today, all from inside 35 yards. Follow live

Almost halfway through third quarter and Demaryius Thomas still has just one catch for 8 yards.

Broncos fans rejoice...teams leading by at least six points at halftime are 30-3 in Super Bowl history. The last team to overcome such a deficit? The Cowboys in 1994, who trailed the Bills, 13-6, at intermission but won, 30-13.
